Stephenson's Works is situated in South Street behind Newcastle Central Station. Entry is free. All are welcome. The formal guided tour of the works lasts approximately 45 minutes. After the tour visitors may return to rooms of particular interest to them in their own time. On Open Days the Trust runs a sales stand where books and leaflets relating to Robert Stephenson and other railway matters may be purchased. The sales stand also includes a number of books about the High Level Bridge currently undergoing extensive repair works. The Trust's website www.robertstephensontrust.com has further information about the Works.
